For my Studio course in my Junior Year at Colorado State University, we were tasked with designing a Presidential Villa for a wellness resort in Bali, Indonesia. My wellness resort is named Muka - derived from the Indonesian word "Carimuka", which means "to look for" or "to search".

The intention behind Muka Wellness Resort is to provide a retreat for visitors to find what they are looking for within, isolating themselves from technology and social media for the duration of their stay.

Creating an interior and exterior environment that is soothing, open, and interwoven with the nature of its surroundings was my concept for this project. The details in the Presidential Villa encompass that concept through form, materiality, natural light, and aspects of prospect + refuge theories.
